pgExpress Suite
Description

The Vita Voom © pgExpress Suite
© is a set of components to develop client-server
applications using Borland Kylix/Delphi 6+ and
the PostgreSQL Database Server.
Built on the strengths of the pgExpress
Driver, the pgExpress Suite is designed to
provide all features needed to develop complex
SQL applications using the world's most advanced
open source database - PostgreSQL.

With an improved driver version, the following
components will be available:
- TPGEServer - A custom autheticatication wrapper
with added features;
- TPGESQLConnection - A custom Connection component,
supporting advanced PostgreSQL features.
- TPGEClientDataset - A custom ClientDataset
Component, for supporting all sorts of DataSource-enabled
components to interact with PostgreSQL datasets.
- TPGEDatasetProvider - A Provider component
to provide data from a PostgreSQL dataset to a pgExpress
dataset and to resolve updates from that client dataset
back to the Server.
- TPGENotify - A component supporting asynchronous
notification.
- TPGESecurity - A grant and security manager.
- TPGEImporterExporter - A component to import
and export data from the PostgreSQL Server.

Vita Voom Software also tries to ensure the best documention
is available to its users. The documentation covers
all classes, properties, methods and functions on the
full pgExpress Suite, adds many examples and points
to external PostgreSQL documentations. This documentation
is available on multiple formats (Windows Help, PDF,
and Microsoft HTML Help Files).
Availability
The pgExpress Suite is on heavy development and should
be available in next few months. All users on our announcements
list will be notified when it's available.
